Both places are worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Wine and Brittle at Pedernales Cellars
Since Pedernales Cellars has been selling Blazin’ Brittle, they’ve had great luck pairing their Muscat Canelli with the smoky chipotle Blazin’ flavor. The Muscat is unique in that it has a bit of heat, as well, a perfect match to the hot, spicy brittle.

Likewise, Texas Ruby, the Pedernales Port, goes nicely with Cinnamon Girl. Texas Ruby is an oaky, dessert wine with hints of black cherry and chocolate, a nice compliment to the buttery cinnamon brittle.

And those are just two of the many delectable wines you can try at the Pedernales tasting room. Or you can order online!

Rancho Bernardo Inn
One retailer that I didn’t mention in my newsletter is Rancho Bernardo Inn. Located in San Diego, Rancho Bernardo is one of the most beautiful locations in southern California. The Inn is an small upscale golf resort with impeccably manicured lawns, elegant but not overly ornate ballrooms, and a top notch restaurant. The rooms are contemporary, bright, and ultra-comfortable. A luxurious place to stay, to say the least. And now, guests can buy a bag of Cinnamon Girl Brittle when they pick up their morning coffee at Cafe Granada, the onsite coffee shop.

If you want a favorite specialty shop in your town to carry Blazin’ Brittle, leave a comment with their name and town, and I’ll follow up. Thanks!

Order on Amazon
Blazin’ Brittle sampler packs are now available on Amazon.com! Whether you’re ordering for yourself or sending gifts, Amazon shopping is efficient and easy. Click on the “Shop Online” tab at the top of the page.

Have a blazin’ day!

The San Angelo CBS affiliate, KLST, produces a series called, “Made in the Concho Valley,” showcasing local businesses, artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs. I was thrilled and honored to be featured on the program a couple of weeks ago. Take a look:

Blazin’ Brittle on KLST

By the way, the San Angelo area is called the Concho Valley because if its proximity to the Concho River. If you’ve ever read westerns by Texas writers, such as Elmer Kelton, you probably saw it mentioned.
